Privacy Policy for ChronoVault

ChronoVault is operated by ACS Capital Investors, LLC (“ChronoVault,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you access or use the ChronoVault mobile application, including any related features, services, updates, communications, or support channels collectively referred to as the “App.”
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the App, the features you choose to enable, and the information you choose to provide.
A. Information You Provide to Us
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Name, if entered by you;
- Email address, if used for account access, support, communications, or other App-related purposes;

- Account registration or profile information, if account features are made available;
- Support requests, messages, feedback, or other communications you send to us.
B. Financial and Asset-Related Information You Enter
ChronoVault allows users to enter and manage personal financial, asset, budgeting, and tracking information. This may include:

- Asset holdings;
- Financial tracking entries;
- Asset descriptions, values, categories, or related details;
- Personal notes or records related to assets, budgets, financial goals, or financial planning.
This information is entered by you and is used to provide the App’s personal tracking, organization, and recordkeeping functionality.
ChronoVault does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial planning, brokerage, banking, fiduciary, or advisory services. The App is intended for personal informational and organizational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
C. Device, Usage, and Diagnostics Information
We may automatically collect limited technical, usage, and diagnostic information, including:
- Device type and model;
- Operating system and version;
- App version;
- Device identifiers or similar technical identifiers, where applicable;
- General App usage activity;
- Feature interactions;
- Crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data;
- Log data reasonably necessary to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
D. Account Information
If the App allows you to create an account, we may collect and process account-related information such as:
- Email address;
- Login credentials or authentication information;
- Account preferences;
- Account settings;
- Account activity;
- Data associated with your account.
E. Third-Party API or Service Data
If ChronoVault integrates with third-party APIs, analytics tools, cloud hosting providers, crash reporting tools, authentication providers, or other service providers, those services may collect or process limited information as necessary to provide their services or support App functionality.

2. How We Use Information
We use information collected through the App for the following purposes:

- To enable financial, asset, budgeting, and personal tracking features;
- To store, organize, display, sync, or otherwise make available information you enter;

- To analyze App performance, usage patterns, and feature functionality;

ChronoVault does not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. Local Storage and Cloud Storage
Depending on the App’s functionality, your settings, and the features you choose to use, information may be stored:
- Locally on your device;
- In cloud-based systems used to provide App functionality;
- Through service providers that support hosting, analytics, diagnostics, authentication, data storage, customer support, or related services.
If information is stored locally on your device, deleting the App may delete locally stored information unless backup, sync, export, or cloud storage features are enabled.
If the App uses cloud storage, account-based syncing, backup functionality, or similar features, information may remain stored after the App is removed from your device unless you delete the information, delete your account, or contact us to request deletion.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share information only in the limited circumstances described below.
A. Service Providers
We may share information with vendors, contractors, processors, or other service providers that help us operate, maintain, secure, or improve the App. These may include:
- Cloud hosting providers;

- Crash reporting and diagnostics providers;

D. Business Transfers
If ACS Capital Investors, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and privacy protections.
E. With Your Direction or Consent
We may share information when you direct us to do so, when you use features that require sharing, or when you otherwise provide consent.
5. Financial Data and Sensitive Information
Because ChronoVault may allow users to enter financial and asset-related information, we treat such information as sensitive. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect this information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.
ChronoVault does not process payments, hold funds, execute transactions, or provide brokerage, banking, or custodial services. ChronoVault does not access, connect to, or retrieve data directly from financial institutions unless explicitly stated within the App.
The App relies on user-provided information. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information entered into or generated by the App. We do not disclose users’ personal financial information, asset information, or payment-related information except as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You should avoid entering information that is not needed for your use of the App, including highly sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, full payment card numbers, bank account login credentials, or other highly sensitive information unless the App specifically requests and securely supports that functionality.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information collected or processed through the App. These safeguards may include, as appropriate:
- Encryption or secure transmission methods;
- Access controls;
- Authentication safeguards;
- Monitoring and logging;
- Security testing and review;
- Restricted access to systems containing personal or sensitive information;
- Vendor security review, where appropriate.
However, no method of electronic transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the App and related services;
- Maintain your account, if applicable;
- Support App functionality;
- Respond to support requests;
- Resolve disputes or troubleshoot issues;
- Maintain security and prevent misuse;

User-entered information stored locally on your device may remain on your device until you delete it, delete the App, clear App data, or otherwise remove the information.
If information is stored in cloud systems or connected to an account, we retain it until it is deleted by you, deleted through account settings, or deleted following a verified request, unless we are legally required or permitted to retain it for a longer period.
We may retain de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized information for legitimate business, analytics, security, or App improvement purposes, provided it does not reasonably identify you.
8. Your Choices and Data Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access certain personal information we maintain about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete certain personal information;
- Request deletion of your account, if accounts are available;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Receive a copy of certain information in a portable format, where applicable.

- Edit or delete financial or asset-related entries within the App, where available;
- Manage account settings, where account features are available;
- Disable certain device permissions through your device settings;

We may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We may decline or limit a request where permitted by applicable law, including where we are unable to verify your identity or where retaining information is necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
9. Account Deletion
If ChronoVault allows users to create an account, users may request deletion of their account and associated account data by contacting us at:

If an account is deleted, we will delete or de-identify associated account data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required or permitted for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup, or compliance purposes.
Some information may remain in backup systems for a limited period before being overwritten or deleted in accordance with our ordinary backup and retention practices.
10. Third-Party Services
We may use commonly available third-party services such as analytics, hosting, and crash reporting tools. Specific providers may change over time.
The App may use third-party services to support functionality, analytics, diagnostics, hosting, storage, security, APIs, authentication, communications, or customer support. These services may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms.
These third-party services may include:
- Analytics providers;
- Crash reporting and diagnostics tools;
- Cloud storage or hosting providers;

These third-party providers may process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated, where applicable, to use appropriate safeguards. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services that are presented to you or integrated with the App.
ChronoVault is not responsible for the privacy, security, or data practices of third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
11. App Permissions
The App may request access to certain device permissions only when needed for App functionality. If permissions are requested, the App will use them only for the purposes disclosed at the time of request, within the App, or in this Privacy Policy.
You can manage App permissions through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit some App features.
If the App uses features that involve access to sensitive device permissions or sensitive user information, we will provide appropriate notice and, where required, obtain consent before collecting or using that information.
12. Children’s Privacy
ChronoVault is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

13. International Users
ChronoVault is operated from the United States. If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
These jurisdictions may have data protection laws different from those in your location. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries, subject to applicable law.
14. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or information about certain disclosures.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals
Some browsers or devices may transmit “Do Not Track” signals or similar mechanisms. Because there is not yet a uniform industry standard for responding to such signals, the App may not respond to all such signals.
Where required by applicable law, we will honor legally recognized opt-out preference signals.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above.
If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice, such as through the App, by email, or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
